This week's FFWD. What's not to like - bacon, spinach, cream, Parmesan cheese? We loved this quiche and the leftovers were good, too (cold). I used seven slices of bacon instead of four and substituted 1/4 cup sprouted spelt flour for 1/4 regular flour in the tart shell.
For last week's FFWD, I did make the
Torteau de Chevre (without any flavoring) and it was wonderful. No photo, though.
I loved this recipe as well! Great post!
ReplyDeleteThere was no way four slices of bacon were going to cut it! I used pancetta, but I think I tripled the amount I used...
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed.
What a beautiful quiche! I thought it was funny that Dorie was surprised to see her husband eating the leftovers for breakfast because quiche for breakfast makes perfect sense to me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, yummychunklet, Cher, and Audrey :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever reheated any quiche, now that I think of it...leftovers are always better cold, to me.
